Central Engineering Services was established in 1989 as a dedicated service company by partners Pete Filmer and Ken Greenland. Designing and manufacturing to customer requirements parts for medical devices such as tourniquet, needleless injection systems, security equipment for low level inspection, together with luxury goods such as cigar cutters. As part of its manufacturing facilities it offered its metal finishing facilities to professional restorers of vintage and classic vehicles, and over a 15 year period built a world wide reputation among professional restorers.
In 2002 Central Engineering Services became Central Engineering Design Ltd, with directors Ken Greenland and Pete Filmer.
In 2006 Central Engineering Design Ltd, became involved with the design and manufacture of RASCO cargo products now known as REST and has developed a new electric sampling machine that has streamlined the whole process.
Other innovations include remote control dog training devices, Carousels and training stands for the MOD.
